No page this week - I am exhausted after Baltimore Comic Con -.-
Here are some snapshots of our table and friend who came to help. It was a lot of fun, and I got to talk shop with other artists. The booth baby was fascinated with all the cosplayers and had a great time too!
Houses!
I am working hard to post this page from my phone; so if it comes out all scrambled you know what happened...
I'm not sure if I should be ordering more red and sepia ink, I might run out before I get halfway through this issue...
New issue, new technique! I am having so much fun going old school and working with inks again. I think I'll have to do a bit of fine tuning when it comes to paper type and nibs, but I'm pretty happy so far. Lots of sepia and scarlet coming up.

Ooops! I got this page all ready and uploaded, then promptly forgot to publish it on Monday D:
Still working on a herd of robots; they'll assemble into their own robotic environment later.
I'm working on some robot sketches and ideas that might get used in an upcoming issue of Weird Orbits. At the very least we should get some cute buttons for Baltimore Comic Con.
I am feverishly working on creating some print goodies for Baltimore comic con. This is the poster version of a Robot Queen postcard I did a while ago.
Oh no! Quick, Yochi, hide behind the Jaguar!
I wish I could include a great webcomic recommendation this week, but I've been way too busy watching The Great British Bake Off :P
Soooooo many feathers... o.O
One of my favourite webcomics ever: Strong Female Protagonist, Check it out!
Right now my biggest difficulty in being a parent is not being able to binge play Fallout 4.
It's Black History Month over here, and Aphton Corbin has been doing daily comics that I really like, illustrating different experiences and stories about race.
Must post page quick baby is crying...
Doo doo doo, here's something good to read: Stand Still Stay Silent
I had about twentyfive layers going to colour this one, but then I quite enjoy working on these big, elaborate pages.
Woop woop, second page of 2017!
What are you reading this year? One of my current favourites is Boumeries. It's an autobio comic that (among other things) contains a lot of funny moments about pregnancy and life with small children. I discovered it while pregnant, and it was perfect reading while looking forward to the insanity that is parenthood.
Happy New Year! May it be infinitely better than 2016.
If you haven't seen it yet, check out yesterday's page - we have some incredible guest art by Nikki Flux!
